Saturday 1st September was the club have a run out to Happy Days Café at Holmes Hill, for afternoon tea. Some members assembled at the De La Warr car park departing at 4 sharp, others decided to go directly to Holmes Hill. Apparently, those members that who went directly probably made the better choice as the Festival of the Sea was on at the De La Warr and the car park was very full. There were approximately 20 members who made the journey. In the houses lounge you too can have a Harley Davison motorbike and Honda car parked in side, as you can see from the photographs. A selection of sandwiches, a varity of Scones with jam and clotted cream, a chocolate and Victoria sponge cakes, with tea or coffee. The weather was excellent, very warm. A good atmosphere for members to catch up and have a good gossip. Even Elvis made an appearance! Thank you to Graham Dickinson and Julie Timms for organising the trip out.
