Little Common Christmas Lights

We were invited to the Little Common Christmas lights switch-on on Sunday 7th December when the weather was both wet and windy, and this put some people off from bringing their cars, and ill health hit a few as well.

With Santa and his elves aboard the hot-rod sleigh, we left Cooden with the Snowman and Grinch following in the Jaguar - as they would! Fortunately, by then the rain had stopped and the wind had died down.

When we parked in Little Common, the queue to see Santa 🎅🏻 was steady with lots of photo opportunities for the children to sit in the sleigh along with the elves, the Snowman and the Grinch.

The official lights switch-on was great, lots of people there to watch. Afterwards, we headed off for another lights switch-on in Pankhurst Rise but this time, the Jaguar wouldn’t start - we think the Grinch was the culprit, so only the sleigh made it there.

Many thanks to all those who organised the lights switch-on and of course special thanks to Santa Claus, without whom none of it would have been possible!
