On the longest day of the year, the weather was perfect for the afternoon cream tea held at the lovely surroundings of Crowhurst Park, situated at Telham between Bexhill and Battle.

Around 20 member's cars were parked on the grassy area in front of the old manor house and throughout the afternoon, music was provided by The Other Band who this time performed as a duo, as unfortunately their bandmate had suffered a nasty fall, and injured himself quite badly - we wish him a speedy recovery.

 The food was excellent; both savoury and sweet, as could be seen by all the empty plates. It was a most pleasant social event where a good time was had by all, but as ever, all such things come to an end and all too soon, it was time to depart for home.
