Bexhill on Sea - The Birthplace of British Motor Racing (1902)
Saturday 6th April saw the first of this year’s car shows as normal in Penvensey Bay. The turnout of club cars was again excellent. There were several new cars that I had not seen before i.e. a SS Jaguar and a Brough car which I was led to believe that approximately only 80 cars were ever built as we all know that Brough built motorcycles. The Brough won best in show. The weather was kind to us warm when the sun came out but at times cold with an easterly wind. A few members as normal went over the road and had fish and chips at Rose’s Fish bar excellent as always.
