We held our 2nd annual Teddy Bears Picnic on the 4th July. The theme was of course Independence Day (USA). The number of bears that came last year was 100 but this year a grand total of 439 turned up. The majority behaved themselves but one camel did miss behaved by kicking Pooh Bear in the back and nearly knock him off the car. The weather was fine and warm until the sun went down but a good time was had by all with plenty to eat. I would like to thank everybody who helped set up the evening and for providing the food, i.e. Chris & Heidi, Tom, Charlie and all the members that brought a cake, if I have missed anybody off I apologise. The world record for the number of bears at a picnic is 33,573 so we have quite a few to go to beat that. My be next Year?????
