A day after the Summer Solstice, saw our 20-20-20 summer Garden Party. No Druids or Witches this time! or maybe there were ??

About 54 people attended the garden adorned with Balloons bunting and flowers. We all settled down chatting and enjoying the great company.

The Other Band from Hastings soon started playing and entertaining the crowd. It’s the first time most of us had listened to them. They were excellent!

A massive thank you to them for playing for us for free to help our fundraising this year. During the bands break Janet May drew the raffle for some amazing prizes.

Paul Brailsford then drew the prize draw for a £50 note. The food was scrumptious and plenty . The Other Band then resumed playing.

As the sun began to hide behind trees around 8.30pm and the air turned fresh the evening came to a close.

The day in all raised a huge £1,100. So, a few thank yous are in order .
