Presentation Night

26th September 2015

Saturday 26th September was our Presentation Evening when we gave cheques to the four charities which were nominated at our AGM in April. As the weather was once again not kind to us during the car show, the amount was lower than we had hoped for.  Each charity received £500 which was made up by contributions of £250 from this year’s show and £250 from the Anglo/French Market.  A big thank you must go to Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers who opened the show. The consensus being from the club members that without him the amount would have been considerably lower. We hope for better weather next year.

St Michaels: cheque presented to:  Dr Paul Wright

Golden Marigold: cheque presented to:  Frances Rowland

Air Ambulance: cheque presented to:  Colin Kelvey

Demelza Hospice Care: cheque presented to:  Julie Brett

Lee Dunn nominated Steve Parker for this year’s Unsung Hero Award, for the amount of work he has done for the Club, and for Bexhill 100 Juniors.
