The club again went to the NEC, see the Flagman for a very good in-depth article by Mike Wells as a first timer to the show representing Bexhill100MC. For those who have never been to the show it is long days and hard work talking to the many visitors approximately 70,000 this year over the three days. They members left Bexhill on the Thursday at about 5 in the morning to arrive at Birmingham approximately midday. They then had to set up the stand ready for the opening on Friday, then back to the hotel for the evening meal, up at between 6-6-30 for breakfast to be at the show before 9. This is repeated then for Saturday and Sunday as you can see long days. Then after the show closes on the Sunday dismantle the stand pack everything away, cars on trailers and drive back to Bexhill as Mike says Sunday was a 19 hour day and some members think this is a jolly? All in all they had a good time and this also costs the Club nothing as members pay for themselves but the club has a donation from the Anglo French Market as a thank you for the marshalling the club provide twice a year to offset some of the costs this also promotes Bexhill on Sea and the Club.
