We had our annual New Years day run on Sunday the 4th January. We met at the DLWR as usual, it was a excellent turnout of members with approximately 25 cars with a mixture of classics and modern cars, the weather was kind to us although we had heavy rain the night before.

The run took approximately an hour and a half through the country lanes of East Sussex in and around the Bexhill area. At one point there was a horse box that let a few cars pass, the driver really didn't realise her error, there were about 20 more cars to come, bet they wished they hadn't picked that route that day. On the whole it was a good day out, the first of the year. We ended up at the "Shiplu" restaurant on London Road for a meal and a natter. The meal was again excellent and we were all able to catch up with all the gossip, approximately 40 members.
