Easter Bonnet 2019

Sunday 21st April was our now traditional East Bonnet show along Bexhill-on-Sea sea front by they Old Bathing Station. I believe and several club members also commented that this was the best so far. The weather has a lot to do with it but what a glorious day people applying plenty of sun screen. Approximately 60 cars we on display with club members dressing up their cars as normal. Pauline Forward’s MG Roadster won the Les Fuller trophy for the best dressed car. As you can see from the photographs the promenade was very busy all day. The variety of cars for this show was exceptional with many different cars on display from old Austin 7 to an American Lincoln, and lots of sizes between, plus a few modern and classic motorcycles. We were also entertained by two acts of music for most of the day. We all look forward to our next club sea front meeting on Sunday 26th May, we hope the weather will be as good again. A very many thanks again to Stella at the Old Bathing Station for the refreshments.
