Easter Sunday marked the first of our seafront displays for this year, and traditionally we celebrated with an Easter bonnet display.  Unfortunately, the weather didn’t feel as bright and breezy as those who attended, because it rained the whole time we were there!  Nonetheless, there were some wonderful Easter bonnets on display – congratulations to all who braved the elements and tried not to notice all their artwork getting progressively soggy.  Brian Storkey kindly judged the competition entries – Paul Brailsford’s Cosworth was awarded the best car prize, with Fiona Hemsworth winning first prize for her wonderful Easter bonnet and Rosie Gunston won best child’s bonnet.
