Sunday 17th April 2011 saw "Drive It Day"

Once a year members of classic car clubs throughout the UK, which are affiliated to the Federation of British Historic Vehicles,

take their cars out for a run, enabling the public to see many classic cars being driven on the roads in a single day.

Above you see images of some of the cars belonging to The Bexhill 100 Motoring Club taking part in the 2011 event.

This year the cars took a 60 mile round trip from Bexhill to Bolebrook Castle. Sadly the house (even though arranged to be open) was closed due to staff shortages, but the surroundings were a perfect backdrop to display our cars and have a picnic.
