23rd November was our usual monthly club night at the Indoor Bowls Club Bexhill but with a twist. We held a special night of “This is Your Life” the night belonged to Charlie Rowland. The evening was well attended by members although this was kept a very close secret and I do believe that Charlie new nothing about it. The evening start quite normal then the presentation started with his children entering the room. On the big screen the life and times of Charlie was presented, he was at times embarrassed with the pictures that were being displayed. On the whole Charlie was happy with his special night laughing, joking and at times red faced. At the end of his night he was presented with the Red Book. I big thank you must go to Frances and Lynn for all the hard work and many hours spent on this presentation which made it such a good night.  Thank you to Dave Scott and me for the photographs.
