We had our normal club monthly meeting at the Bowls club on the 23rd June which was very well attended with approximately 50 members. We had a good evening with a presentation to Dave Dickens Smith who has been on the committee for the past 16 years who unfortunately lost his position on the committee. He was presented with a Haynes History presentation box of the Mini and a bottle of Johnny Walker Whiskey.  Sheila Smith unfortunately also lost out on the vote, she was not able to attend so Dave was presented with a Blue Orchid plant for Sheila. The evening continued with a quiz all centred around a Cockney theme that Chris and Heidi complied. Pauline had the usual raffle. There were two new members who were introduced to the club, their names were Martin and Pam Rhodes.
