The Christmas dinner this year was on 8th December at the Egerton Park Indoor Bowls Club. Members mostly had the traditional Christmas fare, there were other choices available, the lamb shank looked an excellent choice. The food was excellent. Graham and Sue Dickinson presented the EDGH a cheque for £300 which was the amount that was raised at the Balloon Festival earlier in the year. A great many thanks must go to Graham & Sue for organising the meal yet again, decoration of the tables and of course the clubs traditional raffle. This year we had a quiz that Alan & Julie Timms organised, name the celebrity picture quiz, see the photographs there were thirty, there were some prizes for the highest correct answers 28 was the highest. Number of club members I think were slightly down on last year but hope to see more members next year. You missed a great evening. I big thank you must also go to the catering and Bowls staff for a great evening.
