Steam Train Trip 24th April
The club had a run out to the KESR (Kent and East Sussex Railway) which runs between Tenterden and Bodiam via Rolvenden, Wittersham Road and Northiam Stations. The weather was quite good and there was a good turnout. We parked up at Bodiam Station. Some of the club members went from one end of the line to the other and had a light lunch at Tenterden Station. Other Club members went to Northiam. I believe that all members had a good day.
The Kent & East Sussex Railway is operated by the KESR Co Ltd., a charitable company. Its objectives are to preserve the KESR for the operation and display of railway locomotives, rolling stock, historical education and general interest.
