Saturday 23rd July saw the second Roaring 20’s show in Bexhill. There was plenty going on all day, Marching Bands, Jazz Band. There were plenty of stall an exhibits also a raid at a speakeze (Number 48) that was raided by the police on Devonshire Road.  At one o clock the attempt to reclaim the dance record back to Bexhill that we lost to London I believe, sadly the number of people dancing just fell short, perhaps next year come on Bexhill! We were all had a fantastic view over the sea when the Spitfire and Hurricane gave a brilliant show which lasted for about 20 minutes. There was some sea fog that came in with the tide which lasted about 2 hours but that kept the heat off for a while. I think that very body appreciated all the hard work that goes into the planning of such an event. The photographs were provided by Dave Scott and myself.
