Bexhill on Sea - The Birthplace of British Motor Racing (1902)
Sunday saw our latest and last summer sea front shows. The weather was very good and kind to us compared to Saturdays Carnival which had to be called off because of the weather.
As you can see from the photographs lots of cars to see and with the Moto Fest on as well lots of visitors wondering along the sea front. Bob Whittome won the Les Fuller Trophy with his Roadcraft SRV8 Cobra Roadster 1975 which was presented by Terry Bing last months winner. Bexhill100MC had their Carnival float a WWII Spitfire model on show as we always do. The BMW I8 Spyder 12v children’s electric car Raffle prize to be drawn on our August Bank Holiday Car Show. Thanks yet again to Russell Noakes who yet again played music all day raising money for our 20-20-20 project. Stella at the Old Bathing Station Café yet again provided club members with cups of tea, very many thanks. See you all at our annual Classic Car Show in August.
