  2. Hi All.
    I own a re`built 1977 MK3 Cortina with a 2+2 1930 Riley Imp type sports touring car body. Re`built in 1989.
    I am a keen( hands on) old car/motorbike person and been driving for 50yrs learning to drive in 1940 cars.
    Am I a type of person with my car that could be of any benifit to the club ?.
    We both reside in Bexhill.

  4. Thanks Chris & Heidi, the whole project car (Spitfire Mk2) has been a huge team effort, but at last we are getting close to the end lol. Had to sort out Insurance and road tax on it today so that we can test and run the vehicke in, after a full engine rebuild etc. One big job we have yet too do is the paint job, so if any members can help with advice or help please pop-in to the clubs garage on club opening days/nights.
    We started this project in Oct 2009 so a long long job, but as i say everyone who has helped with it has done really well.
    Look out soon for a update on the Spitfire on this website soon....Thanks again Lee

  18. what a show !! weather on our side although abit windy when setting up according to DDS . :-)
    could not believe how many cars and people were there . think all records will be well and truly broken . a massive pat on the back for all involved in the organisation of the 2011 show. I thank you personaly for allowing the exra award for best morris minor, on behalf of my late father peter ( harold ).he would have been so proud . so all i say is bring on the 2012 show !

  22. WELL DONE BOB on the first videos on our clubs great website. Its good too see club events 'come to life' in video form, i hope you can take some more short clips at our big club show at the Polegrove this month.
    This helps the far away club members who can not attend some events see just what fun we are haveing these days lol.
