Bexhill on Sea - The Birthplace of British Motor Racing (1902)
Easter Sunday was early this year 1st April. This was the clubs first car show outing, sea front show. The first is normally Penvensey Bay but this is on the 7th April this year next weekend, so the club beat them. The weather this Easter was not good around the country, rain, very windy and snow in some places, but Bexhill on Sea was dry with overcast skies but no rain, we had a good day compared with others around the country. We had a good turn out of cars some of the old favourites but also a few different cars this show. This year’s competition for the best turned out/dressed car “Easter Bonnet 2018” went to Jan Parmenter with her Renault Florida Cabriolet, she was presented with the Les Fuller Trophy. The best Dressed/Costume went to Diesel the Dog, she was not happy when she had the hat put on her head, looked very sorry for herself. A big thanks you again Stella for The Old Bathing Hut, for support us.
