Bexhill on Sea - The Birthplace of British Motor Racing (1902)
Friday 29th April was our monthly club meeting which was held at the Royal British Legion in Little Common as the Indoor Bowls Club was unavailable. The meeting started early at 19.30 and after the usual club information and news we then proceeded to hold a Race Night. We held severn races with horses, flat racing and hurdles and then the final race of the evening was racing Pigs over the sticks. The members that attended was in the region of 40, I believe you all had a very good time. We also held a heads and tails auction for a bottle of Whisky which raised £22. This event was all in aid of the 20-20-20 fund raising, the grand total raised £225 which was a fantastic sum. I would like to thank you all for this fantastic amount raised. I was asked if we could do it again, perhaps next year. Thank you all again.
